The Green Bay Packers have released WR Jake Allen. Ted Thompson, Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations, announced the transaction Wednesday. Allen saw action in one game and was inactive for two others. He spent the entire 2008 season and the first seven weeks of the 2009 season on the Packers' practice squad. Source: Packers.com
They should have kept Kole Heckendorf a walk on receiver that came to camp this year, He had good hands and good speed and had a good camp. Bad cut for the Pack.
