Things have been rocky between the Cardinals and wide receiver Anquan Boldin for quite some time. The Cardinals are 5-1 this season minus WR Anquan Boldin. John Czarnecki of FOX Sports wrote on Sunday that Boldin will "probably" have his ongoing request granted this offseason. Source: FOXSports.com
good for him, fitz is not that much better than him (ive always preferred boldin of the 2) and fitz makes so much more money than him after the extension. on about 28 other teams boldin is a #1. hes getting his stock back up after 2 solid games post ankle injury
I'd take Boldin in Chicago in a heartbeat. Just too bad the Bears don't have a first round pick to give up for him.
Hey guys, I think Boldin is great, but I just can't see a team giving up too much for him given his injury history. He'd be a #1 WR for most other teams, but as a #1 facing the oppositions best CB and double coverages he won't be near as effective. Look no further than T.J. Houshmanzedeh to see what Boldin is in store for if he leaves the Cardinals.
disagree...he was the #1 before fitz and did ok. really up until last years playoffs when fitz went bonkers he has been just as good as larry, better imo. he has injuries, but hes as tough as they come, and he plays extremely hard. comapring boldin to houshmanzaheh? you might as well just smack him in the face
No way in hell is Boldin as good as Fitz. Boldin is an excellent receiver, but Fitz outplays him, and outclasses him too.
outclasses? why cause fitz didnt complain about his $10 million per year contract? lol id take either one, both are studs. i prefer boldins style of play though
Boldin is the WR version of Marion Barber. The issue other than injuries is that he may have a shorter shelf life than most WR's
K Train I used to agree with you about Boldin being better than Fitz, but over the last couple of years I think Fitz has overtaken him. I still believe that Boldin is still a stud, and number 1 receiver just about anywhere in the league. He does not need Fitz to thrive, he's great on his own. Injuries are a bit of a concern.
