Carolina Panthers linebacker Jon Beason has been arrested on a charge of aggravated assault. The Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office says Beason was arrested at 1:36 p.m. Monday. A source tells NewsChannel 36 that the charges stem from an incident at Uptown Cabaret after the Panthers' victory against the Atlanta Falcons on Nov. 15. Source: WCNC.com
NO It took so long because the court system was protecting beason, i have inside knowledge of this incident. the guy that got injured had to go to the magistrate 4 different times and they wouldn't issue him the warrant. just a classic case of atheletes being protected. the guy has to have reconstructive surgery because beason and dante risario jumped him at a strip club. the courts wouldn't give him the warrant for risario.
