Injured Washington Redskins running back Clinton Portis said Tuesday he has been cleared to play by a local doctor but will wait until Monday's examination by a doctor in Pittsburgh. Portis was ruled out of Sunday's game against New Orleans because of a concussion suffered three weeks ago in Atlanta. Appearing on the ESPN 980's "The John Thompson Show," Portis said, "It's just the vision. Outside of that, I haven't really tried anything else. I wasn't having any headaches or nausea or anything. Once we realized that, it was basically getting my eye back up to speed." Source: Washington Times
