It has become increasingly clear to the Lions that they need to upgrade their defensive line in the offseason. Jim Schwartz prefers to rush four on most plays, but Lions defensive coordinator Gunther Cunningham has had to blitz nearly half the time because of the lack of natural rush up front. The Lions could stand to upgrade at every spot on the defensive line and, we hear, will make it an offseason priority.

We have the key components for the offense in place, now it's just about Defense, Defense and more Defense.....maybe a wideout sprinkled in there

Outside of a WR TE QB and RB the Lions have nothing. They need an o-line, that should be #1 priority.

duh. the lions have been getting killed in the trenches on both sides of the ball the last few years. that's why they're losing. why have all of these regimes failed to realize what the rest of us knew and why did it take schwartz until week 13 to come to this conclusion?
