Already on a short leash, Texans coach Gary Kubiak may have cut the cord on Sunday when his team fell for the fourth straight time -- and likely out of playoff contention. The low point of Houston's 23-18 loss at Jacksonville was an interception thrown by running back Chris Brown on first-and-goal from the Jaguars' 5-yard line when QB Matt Schaub dished the ball to Brown, who ran right and unloaded a pass that Jacksonville safety Gerald Alexander caught just before the end zone. Kubiak took the blame for the call. "We had what we wanted, but obviously it didn't work out," Kubiak said. "It's a tough spot to put Chris in, so it just ends up being a bad call by me. A poor call." Source: USA Today
