Panthers coach John Fox refused to clarify the identity of his starting QB for next week's game in New England. Backup Matt Moore started Sunday's 16-6 defeat of the Bucs in relief of Jake Delhomme, out with a broken finger but Delhomme was in danger of being benched even without the injury. Fox wouldn't say who he's leaning toward starting on Monday. "It's just like any other position," Fox said, via the Charlotte Observer. "We'll evaluate it. That's why we practice. We'll keep you posted. I can't answer 'ifs. Like all injuries, you just take it day-to-day. I haven't seen Jake (Monday). I'm sure it feels better today than it did yesterday and last week. Like all our injured players, we'll evaluate them and see where we are on Wednesday and take it from there." Source: USA Today
