Cardinals Believe Frank Gore Will Be Prominent In 49ers Offense

    No evidence can persuade Cardinals safety Adrian Wilson that Frank Gore's role has diminished in the 49ers offense. "Let's not make a mistake. Frank is the focal point of that team," Wilson said. The 49ers have never relied so heavily on the passing game, not even when Joe Montana or Steve Young were around, still, Wilson isn't buying it. He expects Gore, Gore and more Gore on Monday night.

    yep, depending on which cards defense shows up, the best way to have success against them is typically on the ground.

    The Cardinals run defense is MUCH improved from previous years. Gore will have some success, but don't expect much more than 75 yds. and a TD from him this week.

    Very true. Was looking bleek with the departure of Antonio Smith, but Calais Campbell has more than filled the vacancy. Add to that getting rid of Clancy Pendergast and bringing in Billy Davis as DC has paid huge dividends.
