Saints cornerback Jabari Greer, who had surgery Dec. 8 to repair a sports hernia and hasn't played since suffering the injury Nov. 8 against Carolina, said he is finally starting to feel healthy again. Greer said he has been told that the recovery time for most sports hernia surgeries is three to six weeks. But he said he hopes to be back this week, which would move his recovery time to just two weeks. "I'm getting better," Greer said. "After the surgery I felt a lot of the pressure released and I'm really optimistic about getting out there in these next two weeks and making some plays." Source: The Times Picayune
