Minnesota has literally thrown away a chance at the #2 seed. The winner of the Eagles-Cowboys game will not only be the NFC East Champs but will have a first round bye and a home game in the divisional round.
Thankfully the Bears special teams keeps giving the offense good field position after Minnesota scores.
Even with a Vikings win next week and along with a Dallas win, Dallas and Minnesota would be tied in conference record at 9-3. I'll have to double check what the next tiebreaker would be.
Big break by Minnesota with the INT. **********Automerged Doublepost********** Only if you come back against Chicago tonight. With a Viking loss, they will sit at 11-4 and Dallas is at 10-5. They still have a shot at the #2 along with the Eagles.
So like I said, we win one more, and Dallas can not get the number 2, only the Eagles would have a chance.
Philadelphia can clinch a first-round bye with: If Minnesota defeats Chicago: a win (vs. Dallas) and a Minnesota loss (vs. N.Y. Giants) If Chicago defeats Minnesota: a win OR a tie and a Minnesota loss or tie Dallas can clinch a first-round bye with: If Chicago defeats Minnesota: a win and a Minnesota loss (vs. N.Y. Giants) and an Arizona loss or tie (vs. Green Bay) It'll be a little tougher in Dallas case but they still have a shot. But in Philly's case, you must rally against Chicago because if not, even with a Vikings win against New York next week, Philly can take it with a win over Dallas.
