The Cowboys plan on double covering DeSean Jackson the whole game when they take on the Eagles on Sunday, according to the Philadelphia Daily News. The Cowboys held Jackson to just two catches and 29 yards in Week 9, one of his worst games of the season. That doesn't seem like the kind of lightning that will be able to strike twice, however as Jackson has found the end-zone in five straight games. Source: RotoTimes.com
Awesome! Should be a big game for Westbrook, McCoy, Celek, and Avant then : ) **********Automerged Doublepost********** Only down side is I know Dmac and Djax want to get Crazy Leg's / Hester's record so I bet they still take a few shots. Just hope it doesn't lead to any turnovers.
well, dallas was one of the few teams that prevented jackson from burning them deep and that's a good way to beat them. in the 14 games Jackson has played this season, when he doesn't burn someone deep, the eagles have a 2-3 record. In games that he gets his 1 big play/TD, the Eagles are an amazing 8-1. Yep, i think preventing jackson from burning them deep is pretty damn important.
Its gonna be Newman with Safety over the top like last game LOL at you two acting like we will be covering him with half our defense
Yea, last game we dident have enough time for the big plays to jackson anyway. If the online doesent protect better this game desean will struggle again. If mcnabb gets time and moves around in the pocket i could see jackson getting big plays even if he is being double teamed. The guy is like a little rocket.
McNabb may have a harder time this game getting time with Jackson out, and Reid may have to get creative to allow McNabb to be able to step up in the pocket ie......keeping Westbrook or Weaver in to double Ratliff **********Automerged Doublepost********** Dallas had a hard time with Snelling in the ALT game so Weaver is a guy to keep an eye on
lol big game for westbrook... he's finished, no seriously he's done! Eagles will put him in a retirement home after this season and he will live out the rest of his life.
I wonder how different the game would have went if McNabb didn't miss Jackson so far behind the Dallas secondary.
