Jason Campbell will most likely be Washington's starting quarterback for one more season, according to the Washington Post. New coach Mike Shanahan fully intends to draft and develop his own new quarterback, but is said to prefer starting Campbell in 2010. Playing under an offensive guru like Shanahan, Campbell could likely be a very competent quarterback, and could even be a more-than-acceptable option in two-quarterback leagues next season.

If its a new system not sure if i would keep Campbell, there would be othe Vetran QB's on the market next year.

Shanahan said he's keeping Campbell because he already understands the WCO because of Zorn so it would be easier than starting over. However with his draft history, I wouldn't put it past him that we draft a QB. Maybe not with the 1st round pick, but a later pick.

Its the smart thing to do. There isn't anything better out there and we won't be winning anything next year anyways.

Address the more important needs first then let a young QB sit and develop behind him. If we don't go OL first no QB will have a chance anyway.
