Back-up running back Willis McGahee isn't likely to be back with the Ravens in 2010, according to the Baltimore Sun. The team does not seem inclined to pay his $3.6 million salary, so he will most likely be cut. After rushing for 167 yards last Sunday, and 12 touchdowns on the season, McGahee has proven he still has something left in the tank, and some teams, most notably Detroit, might be willing to give him a chance to start.

Said that last year too - if having two good backs makes us a unique threat to other teams I would not be surprised if we kept Willis around. Plus I like having him on my team.

It would be stupid to cut Willis. Just stupid. You could ask him to take a pay cut, but he's playing like he deserves to be on the team next year. What happens if Ray Rice tears his ACL in week 2? Don't make the same mistake you made with Stover.

    I don't think he'd agree.
He might think he still can start somewhere. And he might be right but there's a risk to sign in a second or third-tier team.
