in all fairness, the ravens have beefed up their stats on a lot of poor offenses this season. when they've played a decent offense (NE, Ind, SD, Minn, GBay, Pitt, Cincy) they've shown some weaknesses. Having said that, the more I think about this game, I actually think the Ravens match-up well with the Patriots in the trenches. Where I still give the Pats the edge is at QB and WR and that may be the difference in this one.
Missing Welker will hurt the Pats, but Julian Edelman still had 10 catches last week. He is not Wes Welker, but someone who can put up 75-80% of Welkers production is still pretty ridiculous. Brady got some important reps with Edelman in last weeks game, which is why he played so much, and that will play a big role in the Pats winning a tough game this week. 24-20
Game is a toss up. I wouldn't bet it. If it wasn't for Brady's heart, I'd go Ravens, but you just don't bet against Brady in the Playoffs. Screwer hates to lose more than he likes to bang super models.
I can't believe how much Edelman reminds me of Welker in size, looks etc., kinda eerie really...I pick the Patriots.
It doesn't look good with Flacco banged up; we have to POUND them with the three-headed monster. I still think we lose, but this will be a good game.
