Eagles coach Andy Reid, team president Joe Banner, and soon-to-be-named general manager Howie Roseman might seriously discuss whether the Eagles' best chance to win an elusive Super Bowl rides with the aging arm and legs of Donovan McNabb or the still unproven Kevin Kolb. If Reid thinks the Eagles have a chance to win it all next season, he'll probably be more comfortable with McNabb. On the other hand, there are recent examples of first-year starters taking their teams to a Super Bowl title. There is only one QB on that roster that should be traded for sure, he wears #7. Anyone else is not a very smart move.
why would teams trade for him if they know the eagles arent gonna keep him anyway? With kolb and mcnabb they have to do something both contracts go up soon they need to make a decision.

Because eventually you have to move on to a younger guy. Not saying mcnabbs time is over or i want it to be but kolb isnt gonna wait forever.
My point is that the Eagles would be dumb to trade Kolb or McNabb. Unless they get blown away with a crazy offer.
I think it might be a good idea to trade McNabb. Right now the eagles are very young at the skill position going with Kolb might cost them a game or two next year but it could help them five years down the road. McNabb will not play forever and I am not sure if he becomes a FA if either side would want to make a deal. There could be a team that is built to win now and need a QB.
i think the two who teams would target would be Mcnabb or Vick.........they shouldnt trade away kolb bc i think the eagles are planning to use him for the future and rightly so....
If kolb could get his interceptions down he could be a very good qb. He had over 300 yards both the games he played 327 and 391. Also had a 120 rating the 2nd game.

Mcnabb is not the Future of the Eagles. Trade Mcnabb for a 1st or 2nd round pick and let Kolb and Vick compete for the starting qb. job.
