It wasn't even close to a tuck rule. The Vid is in the game day thread if you need to see it again.

Right or wrong, I actually think that is what happened. When the ball pops loose (this happens before the face mask) the refs and everyone's eyes naturally go to the ball to see what's going to happen so that's probably why they missed the face mask.

hands to the face is still roughing the passer. the refs hecked up big time and cost the packers a chance to keep playing. now when the cards go to the saints and get destroyed we all are goign to wish the packers were there to make it a game. and its no big surprise to see any cards fans replying to this, everyone knows that there should have been a flag and packers have a first down....

Stop blaming the refs... you gave up 51 freaking points. You lost the game because your normally bad butt defense got its butt worked that game, not because you didn't get a what should have been a lucky face mask penalty to erase your game losing turnover in OT.

And there is like 1 Cards fan on the site and he posts like once a month. Don't act like they all disappeared all of a sudden.

And it was a face mask (which is even worse), not hands to the face.

What play did they see? They also missed the helmet to helmet on Rodgers two plays earlier. They didn't see that either, but they saw a holding penalty, wtf ever. If crybaby Manning or Brady were out there, believe me, both those calls would have been called.

Too bad Rodgers didn't connect with the Jennings on that first pass, then this would be a non-issue, unless of course the refs would have found something to flag the Packers for.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Roy31 again.

As usual it all comes down to one play. No one is talking about the lack of Defense on both sides of this game. No matter the outcome of this game, neither team would have gone further in the playoffs.

  8. It was actually a fumble recovery because Rodgers arm at the point was no longer in a passing motion. If that ball had hit the ground before Dansby had snatched it in mid air, then the Tuck Rule would've applied.

But clearly alot of blown calls in this contest for both sides. The refs may have been focusing on the football on this particular play, but it was evident that Adams blatantly had Rodgers facemask throughout the play and still held on after he was on the ground. All facemask contact is a 15 yard penalty, incidental or not.

But in the end, the players have to do there jobs, get it done and not just worry about the refs. But this explaination could've been alot more thorough.

Wait... I also see Rodgers kick (intentional... penalty?!) the ball into Dansby's arms. So if Rodgers didn't kick it then maybe it hits the ground and he gets the tuck call? :icon_lol:

My bad Puggs... I'm the one who needs to watch it again. BBB pointed it out and posted the vid to set me straight. :icon_thumright:
