Tom Brady's deal expires after the 2010 season, and this is the closest he's come to the end of a contract since becoming a Patriot in 2000. Peyton Manning is headed for a contract year as well, and Colts owner Jim Irsay said an extension is "a given." Brady's never been one to siphon every last dime but with the possibility the Colts once again could reset the market for quarterbacks in an uncapped environment, this one could be complicated. As if they would ever let him go, I realize Belicheck does some things that don't make sense and hurt the team.(Richard Seymour) but I highly doubt he will let one of the greater quarterbacks in history go.
niners let montana go a few years ago the word around foxboro was they arent gonna break the bank for anyone not named brady or seymour. well we saw what they did with seymour, i wouldnt be shocked at all if they let tom walk at this point in his career. dont be shocked if they pull a fast one and draft mccoy or pike this year
