Chan Gailey has emerged as a strong candidate for the Buffalo Bills' head coaching job, according to a team source and a league source. Gailey, 57, was head coach of the Dallas Cowboys in 1998 and '99 and made the playoffs both seasons. League sources say the Bills' head-coaching search could come to a quick conclusion – within a day or two - and that Minnesota Vikings defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier is not going to be the choice for the job.

If you believe tweets from Adam Schefter, then it is.

So how was he when he was in Dallas?

The word on the street is it's a done deal. :violent24:

A terrible, yet typical move by the Bills.

He will be the next HC solely because he's practically the only "candidate" that's accepted an invite for an interview. Nothing better than an unemployed retread to get an organization back on track. I really feel sorry for all Bills' fans.:eek:hboy1:

One columnist put it best in today's paper:
"Once again, it looks as if the owner is retrenching and surrounding himself with people who have been promoted beyond their talents and won't tell him what he doesn't want to hear."
