Raiders senior executive John Herrera said no news transpired Monday in Alameda regarding managing general partner Al Davis’ scheduled second meeting with coach Tom Cable. Davis and Cable met last Thursday for a short time and agreed to meet again soon thereafter. There’s no word on when that next follow-up meeting will take place

davis will once again drag his feet on the meeting. then if he does fire him, he will drag the search for a new head coach.

You may want Jim but you ain't getting him. Jim will wait for the Michigan job.

Man, my pants would be a mess if we got Jim Harbaugh. I know he's expressed his willingness to come here and his respect (believe it or not) for Al Davis, but for it to actually happen would be a coup. My only fear would be the usual, that Al's meddling and personnel decisions would cripple his abilities as a coach and he would either leave from frustration or be fired for insubordination or some such nonsense.
