Vikings RB Chester Taylor To Redskins?

It still looks like the Vikings could lose running back Chester Taylor to free agency this spring if the free-spending Washington Redskins decide to pursue him but that doesn't mean, though, that an adequate replacement couldn't be signed. Free-agent rules for the Vikings, because they have made the NFL's Final Four and there is no salary cap for next season, mean they can only sign a free agent if they lose one. If the Vikings lose Taylor, they would be allowed to sign a player for whatever amount he got elsewhere, that wouldn't mean, by the way, that the Vikings would have to sign a running back it could mean a linebacker because of Henderson's questionable status or maybe a cornerback if available.

would be a great move....in the prime of his career, a good blitz pickup guy and a great receiver out of the backfield

As much as I love having him a Viking, it would be good to see him get another shot at being more than a 3rd down back.

Ravens should go after him if they decide McGahee's not worth the money.
