Divisional Playoffs Drew The Highest Ratings In 16 Years

  1. The NFL has drawn the most viewers for the divisional round of the playoffs in 16 years, with an average of 33 million per game. Sunday’s Cowboys-Vikings game attracted 37.7 million viewers, the most-watched program on television since last February’s Super Bowl Jets-Chargers later Sunday drew 35.6 million, followed by the Saturday night game between the Ravens and Colts at 3.06 million. Cardinals-Saints brought an audience of 27.9 million.

    I honestly cannot remember ever being such a flat playoff season, a lot of blowouts and two horribly close but boring Jets victories. Packers@Cardinals was a classic, so I guess we cannot complain too much...
