LaDainian Tomlinson is less-than-thrilled about the professional changes that will most assuredly take place, Tomlinson has two years remaining on a contract no one expects to play out. The renegotiated deal last offseason contains a time bomb set to detonate on March 1, when a $2 million roster bonus comes due and the Chargers aren't expected to pay it, and will likely release the future hall-of-famer beforehand. Resolution came late last March at the insistence of club president Dean Spanos, ensuring that Tomlinson would be a Charger in 2009, it's unlikely that Spanos will play savior for a second-straight year, meaning Tomlinson has in all likelihood played his last game as a Charger. Maybe he could go back up AP in Minny next year if they deal Chester Taylor? Too bad, I was hoping this would be LTs year to land a ring.
Washington - seriously, I expect Portis and Betts to be gone, Shanahan will look to add a back via the draft but LT could be the one year guy to help share the load for a rookie or young guy. Snyder loves the big names.........
