Mike Jurecki of XTRA Sports 910 in Phoenix is reporting that Cardinals running backs coach Curtis Modkins is headed to Buffalo to become the Bills offensive coordinator. The Bills requested permission to speak with Modkins, after a couple days Arizona granted Buffalo permission and were able to come to terms late Friday. Gailey told reporters at his introductory press conference that he would be the primary play-caller on game days, so while Modkins will hold the title of offensive coordinator, it's unclear precisely what his role will be.

Cards fans, so how good is this guy?
His role is gonna be to help coach the O in practice and help Gailey make the O game plan for the games.

Living in Phoenix the past 20+ years I'm split on being both a Cards and Chiefs fan. This one is interesting because Modkins came to the Cards this year from the Chiefs after a 1 year stint. So he's been in the NFL for 2 years. He did nothing noteworthy in KC, but he can be attributed to the development of Hightower and Wells in AZ and they have spoken highly of him. If that means he's OC material, OK then.
