Charley Casserly of CBS reports that Redskins coach Mike Shanahan has an "open mind" when it comes to running back Clinton Portis. Portis has a guaranteed base salary over $6 million for 2010 but he has dealt with numerous injuries including a severe concussion that ended his season this year. I think if healthy he can still be a force in Washington. Especially if they do not have another Veteran RB on the team. You know Shanahan is going to draft a rookie so why not keep Portis around 1 more year to mentor a young guy.
