Wide receiver Javon Walker is no longer much of a factor in the Raiders' plans. Walker was, some might say, a washed-up, banged-up trouble magnet and that rep caused Al Davis' heart to go pitty-pat, and he outbid zero other teams to sign Walker for six years and $16 million guaranteed. During the 2008 season, Walker played eight games, caught 15 passes, got hurt, had ankle surgery, then during the offseason without consulting the Raiders, Walker went to Israel for knee surgery which angered owner Al Davis who deactivated Walker for all but three games last season without explanation. Pretty crazy how a guy with such a promising future in the NFL fell off that bad. Dude had some pretty nice skills as a WR to. What a lush.
