Raiders Still Undecided On Coach Tom Cable's Future

  1. John Herrera, a senior executive with the Oakland Raiders, said that the team remains undecided on if Tom Cable will remain as head coach for the 2010 season, and that talks between Cable and owner Al Davis are ongoing. Herrera said the team is not operating on any timetable in regards to the matter, and that Cable and Davis continue to have regular discussions sorting out an array of topics, which have included staff as well. "We don't have anything to report yet, we are continuing our process and there are a lot of things to cover, it's an ongoing process and when we reach a conclusion and a resolution about how we are going to proceed and we will make an announcement." Herrera said in regards to whether Cable would or would not stay as head coach.
