Hue Jackson confirmed to the Baltimore Sun he accepted the position of offensive coordinator with the Raiders. Jackson's statement: "After much consideration I have decided to accept a position as offensive Coordinator with the Oakland Raiders. I will miss the fans here and I thank them for all the encouragement and support they have shown me while I called Baltimore my home. I'd like to extend my deepest gratitude to Steve Bisciotti, Ozzie Newsome, twinky Cass and especially Coach John Harbaugh who brought me to Baltimore. He probably did it because he gets the chance to work with a "troubled" quarterback with huge potential in Russell. If he's able to turn Russell around (which I highly doubt), he's going to have an even better rep in the league and pretty much be guaranteed a HC job somewhere. Oh, and your Bears are hardly the greatest organization in the league these days either, I wouldn't throw too many stones if I was living in your glass house.
