Eagles WR DeSean Jackson Unlikely To Receive A New Deal?

Discussion in 'Philadelphia Eagles' started by BigBlueBruiser, Feb 6, 2010.

  1. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson's chances of getting a new contract this offseason are "not good." Factoring in the economy and an uncapped 2010 season, Schefter says the new rules "are not going to help the young stars in the league right now." Jackson is signed through 2011, with base salaries of $470,000 and $555,000 forthcoming, he'll have a better shot at a new deal next offseason.

If Jackson is smart he'll just role with it

Beside's, he will get much more if he turn's in another good season. This year he may get 2010 Top 10 money. 2011, he may get 2011 Top 5 money

Have him review the game film of the 3 Dallas games and then come back and ask for a new contract.
