Santa Clara To Discuss Final Wording For 49ers New Proposed Stadium

Discussion in 'San Francisco 49ers' started by BigBlueBruiser, Feb 8, 2010.

  1. Santa Clara city leaders are set to discuss the final wording of the ballot measure for a proposed stadium for the San Francisco 49ers. On Tuesday night, the Santa Clara City Council is scheduled to discuss language that city staffers describe as a multilayered question asking voters if city leaders should approve the stadium deal. City officials have said the stadium would generate hundreds of jobs and tens of millions of dollars in annual revenue, but critics worry about cost overruns and traffic problems.

Just for the record: Santa Clara is pretty much San Jose which is about 50 mins driving from San Francisco.

I am extremely saddened that Bay Area teams cannot find homes in their respective cities (Oakland A's and now the 49ers).
