Rams Interested In Drafting Oklahoma QB Sam Bradford?

  1. Tom Kowalski of MLive.com reports in talking to a couple of well-informed folks from St. Louis last week at the Super Bowl, two interesting points came up, the first is one that Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford, once he proves his injured right shoulder is OK, could move into that No. 1 spot. The Rams are desperate to replace Marc Bulger, who is not in the team's long-term plans. The other interesting piece of information was that the Rams had considered drafting USC quarterback Mark Sanchez with the second overall pick last year, which the Jets wound up trading up to No. 5 and taking Sanchez, was considered a reach so the Rams would've taken plenty of heat for taking Sanchez at No. 2 which is why they didn't but after the rookie performance by Sanchez, it appears the Rams, who took tackle Jason Smith, made a mistake.

I would cry like a little girl losing her barbie if this happened. A noodle armed, Big 12 spread system product with a busted shoulder? He would be a downgrade from Bulger, which really does say something...

    This would be disasterous

"oce he proves his shoulder is fine"

Well he can't until he gets hit and inevitable breaks again
I kind of like the Rams but hate Bradford so i want to see him bust and he would on the rams..toughie!

He's not noodle armed like McCoy, he has enough arm strength. I'd say its a little over average in the grand scheme of things, but it's definitely not strong enough to make all the throws - digs, deep outs and outside fades are probably not in his repertoire - so he will have to work harder at reading defenses which he doesn't do much of in college. I think he CAN become great but it will take time.

    DoubleC i'm ready now...

Please don't. I don't want to watch Patrick Willis destroy a former Sooner twice a year. On the other hand, I'd enjoy watching Willis smash Michael Vick twice a year...
