The Eagles aren't responding to an Internet report that says they have offered a contract extension to quarterback Kevin Kolb. The report, which cites an anonymous source, surfaced on the personal Web site of former Eagles linebacker Garry Cobb, a host on Philadelphia sports-talk station WIP (610-AM), terms of the contract extension weren't mentioned in the report. An Eagles spokesperson said the team doesn't comment on contract issues, and a league source said Cobb's report was "ridiculously false." Source: Courier-Post
Doesnt mean much. I think both McNabb and Kolb will be back next season. Kolb will be a backup until he can prove himself in training camp that he should start over McNabb. Vick will be the only qb leaving the Eagles this year.
So wait... this report is actually not a report... because they didn't get any information. The Eagles didn't respond to them. The Eagles never comment on ANYTHING until it's official anyways. Yet another waste of cyberspace.
