Report Shows Gaines Adams Had Marijuana, Alcohol In His System

Discussion in 'Chicago Bears' started by BigBlueBruiser, Feb 13, 2010.

  1. A toxicology report shows Bears defensive end Gaines Adams had marijuana and alcohol in his system when he died but Greenwood County Coroner Jim Coursey says nothing found in the report contributed to Adams' death. The report showed Adams had a blood-alcohol level of 0.021 percent. That's well below the 0.08 percent at which South Carolina drivers are considered intoxicated.

So if you play in the NFL then you sign over your carcass to the league to rifle through you to look for ways they can prove that they weren't involved in your death?

Come on guys, so obvious that the NFL has got in first with these results. All they are doing is trying to find alternate ways that could of caused his death, when it's most likely that it's years of anabolic steroid/HGH usage that knackered his heart out.

    Anything to protect the brand.
