The Texans could place the franchise tag on cornerback Dunta Robinson which would pay him a base salary of $11.9484 million in 2010. Robinson was not pleased that the Texans slapped the franchise tag on him last season instead of offering him a long-term deal, and he certainly won't like it if they do the same thing for 2010. He voiced his displeasure in 2009 by writing "pay me, Rick" on his cleats, a message to general manager Rick Smith.
