Chiefs To Re-Sign SS Mike Brown?

Discussion in 'Kansas City Chiefs' started by BigBlueBruiser, Feb 15, 2010.

  1. The Chiefs could re-sign strong safety Mike Brown for the right price, according to Bill Williamson of ESPN. The club has been pleased with Brown, who racked up 103 tackles (79 solo) in 2009. The only problem is that he has a terrible track record with durability.

Sounds like durability wasn't a problem in 2009, but it was when he was a Bear. Maybe he decided to step it up a notch after the Bears didn't resign him. Kind of like Cedric Benson?

durability wasn't a problem because he had more missed tackels than made tackles.

he was about 50/50 on his "want to knock your lights out" hits. but at least he gave it a shot. Brown would just try 2 stand in front of the defender and try 2 stop him like that :icon_rolleyes:

all in all. we need new safties. with how much the leauge is throwing the ball 2day.
