49ers Preparing For LB Ahmad Brooks To Eventually Replace Manny Lawson?

    The 49ers are working on a contract extension for linebacker Ahmad Brooks. He is scheduled for restricted free agency, but he'll definitely be on the team in 2010. They'll work this offseason on developing his every-down skills, just in case Manny Lawson is not retained past this season and they need him to take over full-time.

    Im not sure if he can over leap lawson....but he is pretty good.
