Seahawks WR Deion Branch Wants To Play For The Bears?

Discussion in 'Seattle Seahawks' started by BigBlueBruiser, Feb 16, 2010.

  1. Sources tell the Chicago Tribune's Around Town celebrity column that Seahawks WR Deion Branch "wants to sign with the Bears." Branch was spotted in Chicago on Friday night at Joe's Seafood Restaurant. Tom Curran of Comcast Sports in New England, however, passes along a report that Seahawks GM John Schneider has no plans to cut Branch, which is a big surprise considering the 30-year-old receiver's obvious on-field decline and $5.47M salary.

Wonder why he wants to leave so bad. To play with Cutler?

Probably cos they are the only team with worse receivers than the Seahawks and he can't get game time anywhere else?

I have mixed reactions on this topic. If the Bears suign Branch and get the Deion Branch that played in New England, sure, i'd welcome him to chicago but if it's the Deion Branch in Seattle, no thanks.

The closest he'll ever get to playing for the Bears is being in a Chicago eatery. Won't happen.

    & I'm glad...

If Deion was spotted in New York City would that mean he wants to play for the Giants or the Jets? :icon_rolleyes:
