FoxSports.com John Czarnecki writes Browns coach Eric Mangini isn't a fan of quarterback Brady Quinn and no one is sure about Derek Anderson, either. Cleveland holds the seventh pick in the first round and could they dangle that in hopes of trading for the Eagles' Donovan McNabb? Browns President Mike Holmgren and Eagles coach Andy Reid are friends (that's how GM Tom Heckert landed in Cleveland) and possibly that could lead to some kind of deal. Source: FOX Sports on MSN
They'd be crazy to give the 7th pick in the draft away for McNabb. I would say that if they have the 7th pick in the 2nd round, that would be about right.
I got a fun game here... let's make 31 threads that go like this... [Any Team] To Trade For Eagles QB Donovan McNabb?
Say what you want about McNabb but he is more successful than a majority of the league's QBs. Now from a realistic standpoint, he can't win a ring without some playmakers, going to Cleveland would just about guaranty a ringless career.
7th pick in "1st round" for Mcnabb... thats pretty much a done deal "IF" the Browns really want Mcnabb that bad.
Dude, McNabb is 33 and can't win a game with superbowl implecations, he is hardly worth 1st round pick.:icon_rolleyes:
