Giants Unlikely To Cut Ties With RB Brandon Jacobs

  1. For the first time since becoming head coach of the Giants in 2004, Tom Coughlin's offense did not feature a 1,000-yard rusher. Running Back Brandon Jacobs, whose 2010 base salary is partially guaranteed and coming off post-season knee surgery, is not going anywhere as he hopes to make 2010 his first complete season since taking over for Tiki Barber in 2007 as the team's top running back. Moreover, Jacobs, who finished with a disappointing 3.7 yards per carry in 2009, is determined to quiet the critics who criticized his running style last season, particularly when he was asked to run plays that weren't necessarily an ideal fit for his style.

I don't think there is a player in the league that I can't stand more than Brandon Jacobs. Dude talks too much...
