With Kurt Warner having retired and unrestricted free agent Brian St. Pierre coming off a season full of back problems, Pro Football Weekly hears it's likely the Cardinals will seriously look at veteran signalcallers in the free-agent market who could conceivably back up Matt Leinart in 2010, as well as spending at least of one of their 2010 draft picks on a QB, probably in the middle rounds. Who's out there: Leftwich, Culpepper, Pennington, Clemens, Troy Smith, T. Jackson, Vick, Collins, McNabb/Kolb (trade), Campbell, J. Johnson, Hill? Not too many great guys off the top of the dome, but I wouldn't be surprised seeing Pennington, Leftwich or Tarvaris backing up Leinart next season
They should seriously consider making the eagles an offer for McNabb.... i just don't see Leinart being the starting QB
Not according to NFL.com's unrestricted free agent list: NFL.com I heard awhile back that Dallas signed Kitna to a secret contract extension.
Kitna's contract extension was posted by one of the Cowboys beat writers on their twitter page awhile back, can't remember exactly who gave the details.
I'm glad the Cowboys traded for Kitna after the debacle of Brad Johnson the season Romo went down. I have no clue how the coaches actually thought Brad Johnson was a capable back up.
