Cowboys, Bengals Will Play In The 2010 Hall Of Fame Game

The Dallas Cowboys will play the Cincinnati Bengals in the 2010 Hall of Fame exhibition game, one day after Cowboys star Emmitt Smith and longtime Bengals coach twinky LeBeau are inducted. The game will be played on Aug. 8 in Canton, Ohio, marking the beginning of the NFL's preseason schedule. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones issued a statement calling it "an honor" to play in the game. "More importantly, I really believe that having our players share in Emmitt Smith's Hall of Fame enshrinement should serve as an inspiration to every man on our roster, whether it be a 10-year vet or a rookie that's never played in an NFL game," Jones said. "I can't think of a better way to start the season from a motivational perspective than wearing the same uniform as the NFL's all-time leading rusher."

Too bad it has to be a AFC vs NFC team....it should have been the Cowboys vs the 49ers this year.

Usually, the HOF game is boring. Teams use the extra preseason game to test 5th and 6th string players...

yeah, its about 2 and a half hours away from me, not bad at all. went last year to see that dude Terrell Owens play :icon_cool: this year i've done got my enshrinment tickets, just got to wait on game tickets to go on sale.
