Cowboys free safety ken Hamlin signed a huge contract two years ago but makes few big plays to justify his salary. Hamlin is a quarterback in the secondary and is crucial getting the defense lined up but the Cowboys also acknowledge that they need more plays from the safety position. If the Cowboys address the safety position in the first few rounds of the draft then it could mean the end of Hamlin's run in Dallas. Source: USA Today
I like Hamlin and think he is OK. He does not make a lot of good plays but he does make the calls for the secondary. I do think we could up grade the spot in the draft and would not be afraid to let Sens call the DBs plays while the rookie gets a year to learn the position.
