While we were at the restaurant I saw a blurb on ESPN about the Chiefs drafting Clausen. There was no volume, just some text about him reuniting with Weis. WTF is this crap about???
They are just beating the Charlie Weis drum given he was Clausen's college coach. There are similar rumors about Golden Tate if he drops to the Chiefs in round 2. I could see the Chiefs taking Tate although that wouldn't excite me much. I think there's no chance we pick Clausen at #5. So yes, as Mush said, it's bullcrap.

Drafting Clausen would prove that the Chiefs flushed $36 million down the drain... oh yeah, just what that franchise/fanbase needs right now. When was the last time a Notre Dame QB was useful in the NFL? Wasn't it that Montana guy? Mirer? Bust. Quinn? Can't keep a starting job on a crapty team. Someone show me why Clausen would be any different, even with his college coach holding his hand the whole way. May as well trade for Quinn if they want Jimmy. Miami.

Yeah...no way are we gonna draft a QB...and especially not in the first round. I still think Cassel will be fine. :icon_smile:
hell yeah Cassel will be fine. he recieved a beating last year from our awful O-line, and kept on trucking.
Yeah, that's why I'm giving the boy the benefit of the doubt...and hoping we fix that leaky O-line, and I don't know, maybe putting some glue or something on our WR's hands so they don't drop the ball anymore. :icon_cheesygrin:
i just want wins and you cant do that by changing qb's every year so as much as i hate cassel lets give him anouther reciever and better line hope for the best and keep our def off the field
