Kansas City Chiefs starting OG Brian Waters, who turned 33 earlier this month, has two years left on his contract but a source said that he has a roster bonus of $2 million due on March 14. Waters carries a base salary of $2.9 million for 2010. The team already released veteran G Mike Goff earlier this week and other league sources said Kansas City was expected to address the offensive line position heavily in April's draft.

Yeah, no chance we let him walk to save 2 million. We're already in great shape financially with regards to cap space.

No brainer here. Pay him his $2MM and move on to the problems of the OL. He's been surrounded by turds. If they don't pony up, down comes the My NFL Team flag.
