Cowboys owner Jerry Jones wants everyone to know he's not comfortable after last year's disappointing finish in the view last season in a 34-3 loss to Minnesota in the second round. He sees a team that should have advanced deeper than it did in the playoffs given it had so few injuries. Remember how fingers were being pointed after the Cowboys ended the 2008 season with a 44-6 loss to Philadelphia? "I want some of that right now,'' Jones said. "I want some people nervous. I want our players nervous. After the Minnesota game, we weren't close enough and good enough for anybody to get comfortable about where we are. If that thing had been taken away from us at the last second or we had played at a high level there, but we didn't. We've got to do something to change that. Again, we feel good about the system we're in right now and have got some guys under contract. But it wouldn't surprise me to have 10 or 11 new faces on our team.'' Source: Dallas Morning News
I'm glad he is starting to think like this...they should all be scared...espcially how we have ended each othe last 2 years. Cut...Hamlin right now...I wish Roy Williams would be cut but it won't happen because Jerry won't admit a mistake.
Lets just hope he backs it up like last year and adds some depth to the the Line. Right now you have 1 adequate backup, and as we saw in Minny, thats not enough
neither of the offensive or defensive lines were young enough or talented enough to get them deeper. I think they got deeper than they should have.
Ha ha! you couldn't have said it better! I still remember Keith Brooking crying like girl after the game ended against the Vikings! **********Automerged Doublepost********** everytime i hear JJ say something like this i play the darth vader song in my head
False...I agree with the comment about our o-line not being young enough. Our D-line on the other hand is not old. In a 3-4 scheme you have to add the OLBs in the discussion of the D-line...Ware and Spencer are both young and Ratliff is also. Our other DEs and DTs are not that old.
