Dallas Cowboys receiver Roy Williams' starting job is apparently secure after all after head coach Wade Phillips told reporters that his Friday comments after he was asked whether Patrick Crayton or Kevin Ogletree could beat out Williams next season were misinterpreted. Owner/general manager Jerry Jones said Sunday he could not envision a scenario in which a healthy Williams doesn't start for Dallas next season. "A big no," said Jones, who gave Williams a five-year, $45 million contract the week after trading for him. "I think you could look for him to have the kind of year we expected him to have last year," Jones said. "I'm optimistic about Roy Williams. We've got to do some things to help Roy, to help his game. We've got to do some things with the way we get him the ball to enhance his game. We're going to do that."

he was a waste of 45 Million.. I'd rather give that 45 Million to Miles Austin

Funny. Last week everybody was talking about Crayton and Ogletree steping up to take his spot...

Everyone in the world except for Jerry and Co. Roy Williams is nothing but garbage and Ogletree has shown in his limited time to be a better route runner...but yet again...Roy will start because his contract is ridiculous.

Let's not rush Ogletree. He'll pay-off just like Austin did last year.
