Redskins Expected To Outbid Everyone For Julius Peppers

Sources close to the situation believe that the Redskins will be full steam ahead for Panthers defensive end Julius Peppers as soon as they are able to make that first call. The Chicago Bears might want to add a much-needed pass rusher, but in an uncapped year, beating Redskins owner Daniel Snyder figures to be impossible.

Wont matter. They could sign the entire NFC pro bowl team & the Redskins still wouldn't win the Super Bowl! Something lacking in that organization...

How is this news?! This is a fact! Its like saying that Al Davis will make Raider fans sweat it out at the draft.

Snyder only thinks with his wallet

The Bears better NOT let Peppers leave Chicago without signing a contract.

I dunno Peppers did say he want to play for a contender and the bears are not really there yet, not for a few years! I'm sure his next stop is the Eagles and then he will sign

So what about who is a contender and who is not, enough of that already... Peppers also said he wants to play for a team that runs a 3-4.

He only deserves the money if he is willing to play at 100% cause he sometimes plays at half motor and that can really be seen in tapes

Wait a minute. Are you talking about the player that the Bears got ahold of first and you sound bitter because of that? When Peppers is on his game, he can't be stopped. There are pros and cons to every player.

You're damn right I'm bitter! I took some hateraide this morning when i saw that peppers was at the bears when i heard days before free agency that his manager and Bears FO were meeting.....(Hope they charge them with player tampering cause its not a coincidence that he went to the bears first after his agent met with them)

Give me a break. I'm sure every team in the league is guilty of tampering atleast once whether they want to admit it or not.

Not as public as what the bears did i mean it on ESPN and everything before friday's free agency began and normally its difficult to prove it cause you need evidence but in this case its obious and i don't even think the Redskins did it as obvious as the bears they might have called before midnight when they got haynesworth but you guys took days in advantage to have Peppers go there on friday.

Why should i give you a break? Its an unfair advangate to negotiate before other teams can.
