Lions Release CB Phillip Buchanon

  1. The Lions released cornerback Phillip Buchanon on Thursday, according to a league source. Buchanon signed a reported two-year, $8.5 million contract with the Lions last offseason as an unrestricted free agent. He played in 13 games, starting 11, in his only season in Detroit.

    He'd be welcome back home in Miami if he isn't too expensive. He could be used to fill the void that we have in Nate Jones since he wont be returning :icon_smile:

    Draft: 2002 - 1st round (17th pick) by the Oakland Raiders
    So that would make him 30 in September...
