The Kansas City Chiefs signed free agent quarterback Tyler Palko. Palko was on the Pittsburgh Steelers' 53-man roster for two games. He attended training camp with the Arizona Cardinals a year ago and went to camp with New Orleans. Source: National Football Post
I remember seeing him in a Preseason game sometime back, if I remember right he did good. Just a preseason game of course but still...
Claim to fame: Was a 3-year starter at Pitt, forcing Joe Flacco to transfer to Del. State. I think he entered the NFL undrafted and somehow ended up here in AZ. He's nothing more than a Cassell backup.
Tyler Palko throws a better deep ball than Matt Cassell. Not saying he's gonna even make the roster, but if he does, a nice swapsie for a Hail Mary wouldn't be a bad move.
