Linebacker Scott Fujita said goodbye to the Saints and New Orleans on Sunday when he signed a free agent deal with the Cleveland Browns. But Fujita didn't leave before leaving a generous gesture with the Gulf Coast region. He's donated half of his $82,000 in playoff winnings to coastal restoration. "The people of this city and region have been so good to me and my family that we just felt strongly about doing something to protect the city we have come to love so much, " Fujita says. "And helping on the coastal issue has been on the back of my mind since I first got here." Source: USA Today
Good news out of the NFL? Strange... Good for him, obviously there needs to be a ton more people like him.
Plenty of other players in the NFL should take note of how a real man acts. Class act & very well respected...maybe T.O. & others like him need to hang around Scott to learn some generousity.
