ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting via his Twitter page that the Kansas City Chiefs have signed free agent running back Thomas Jones to a 2 year contract worth $5 million. Jones was released from the New York Jets due to the emergence of rookie running back Shonn Greene. Jones, 32, is coming off his best season totaling 1400 yards and 14 touchdowns. Good signing. With rising star running back Jamaal Charles, I expect the Chiefs to have one of the best 1-2 combos in the NFL next season.
